Hi I have downloaded YetAnotherForum module for DotNetNuke but I have a real problem.... How merge web.config.file .... Is anobody who has installed this module could send me a sample of Webconfig file including parameter for YetAnotherforum ?
Hello jeromefortias, Just a suggestion - you may want to check out DNN3 before you build your portal and use YetAnotherForum. Based on the activity on the DNN portion of the site, I question if it will be updated to work with DNN3. If you have any intent on
using DNN3 then you may want to hold off and check out the DNN3 compatible forums! Those should include ActiveForums and CommunityServer::Forums.
Good Point! Some time ago I read that *some sort of effort* was being put in to integrate CommunityServer's Forum into DNN 3.0. I do not think this is done in its entirety, but I think we'll get it at some point. Getting YYF on DNN 2.1.2 is a Hack!
YAF is not that hard to integrate if you get the PA that Sean put together
here. Then change the web.config and you're away. If you need more help post back and I'll put some more details up. CS Forums are coming according to their site although no-one has said it will coincide with 3.0. Regards
I forgot to mention one of my favorite DNN forums, ActiveForums. http://dnn.ntweb.com/ Check that out. They just released 1.2 version and they will be using DNN 3.0 when it comes out! I personally have used just about every DNN forum that exists and I am going
to purchase ActiveForums the second it gets released for DNN 3.
YAF.NET integration with newest version of YAF is very straight forward... .98 is necessary since that version has the integrated triggers in it... For getting the registered user information.

I'm grasping for straws here. I have DNN working and have YAF installed and running fine on the root site. I've added a second portal site and would also like a forum in it as well. I'm running DNN vs 2.1.2 and have YAF .99 running. Every time I add a forum
in the second site it opens the original forum. What do I need to do to get the second forum to show in the second site within DNN? I would assume that it would be a change in the webconfig but am not sure. Can someone help? I've posted at the YAF forum and
no one replies. Thanks, Ken (Frustrated)
