The module looks great! What are the appropiate procedure to update the scores? I saw the Add Pick'em Game screen, but how am I suppose to use it to update game score, the screen accepts some text fields which requre user inputs that can be result in errors.
Is there an interface to import scores from xml file similiar to the the interface importing schedule? It is much easier to edit xml file than inputing a bunch of fields in the Add Pick'Em Game screen.
Folks, I'm on vacation right now but I'll get back to all of your posts once I get back home this weekend (July 24th or 25th). Thanks for all of the input and feature requests! To answer a couple of questions quickly: a) There isn't as much validation in the
pool as I'd like - that will be improved with the next release. b) To update the game score, just click on the pencil icon next to the game that you want to edit. Then type in the score on the edit screen that comes up. c) If you're starting a pool partway
into a season, you can add scores to the XML file that you import. However, every time you import an XML file, it kills all of your current data, so don't use it as a method to update your scores in an existing pool!! d) There is definitely a restriction within
the code that a user can only have one entry. This could be changed in the future (and would be a nice change), but it would some big implications on the navigation and UI so I'll have to think about that one. One last note: bilybob found a new bug that I
introduced when I fixed the UTC bug that I previously posted. This new bug comes about on the Picks screen - because I'm not checking UTC time in the code that determines whether the submit button is displayed or not, the submit buttons is sometimes displayed
when it shouldn't be. I will fix this bug as soon as I get back from my vacation. I'll then post the code as v2.2. Most of you should be able to fix it on your own if it is going to affect your current pools. Thanks for all the input! mike.
>b) To update the game score, just click on the pencil icon next to the game that you want ?>to edit. Then type in the score on the edit screen that comes up. Maybe I am missing something here. I can not find a pencil icon next to a game, on what screen am
I suppose to see the pencil icon next to a game? I clicked the pencil on the upper left corner, the edit screen came up empty. I don't know if this bug has been mentioned. If a player joins the pool part way, the week standing for the player start from week
1 instead the week the user join the pool.
I know it may sound elementary and stupid, but did you check to see if the preview button for the portal was checked. I have too many times left this checked and wondered what in the world was wrong with my module. Just a double check. If so, check the module
definitions to make sure the Edit module is attached to the module definition.
I have been playing with this module since beta and it is a Job Well Done! Quick request for future features would be to allow setting the time zone rather than pulling it from the server as many here probably host with public hosts that may indeed be located
in different time zones. Again Great Job, John

How do you test run a pool? Here is my approach. I configured several users. I changed the system time to a time before the cutoff datetime. Scores for the week were entered. I set the system time again before next week's cutoff time. I entered the score and
repreated the process. Strange thing happened to users with default pick setting to team 1 or team 2. Default pick for the team sometimes result incomplete picks. One or two picks were left un-picked for the week.
