In this moment - which is the best host for DNN?
I say "in this moment" because the things change.
For example I see good reviews for PortalWebHosting.com
But also I see bad posts recently.

So right now which is the best host for DNN?

For what's it's worth, I've been very pleased with WebHost4Life (www.webhost4life.com). I've only been with them for a couple months, but uptime has been nearly 100% and performance is good. The support (what little I've needed of it) has been very responsive and the features are as good or better than anything else I could fine in this price range. I went with the $9.95 per month plan.

If you go with them, feel free to use my referral ID (bealsle).

    Hope that's helpful.

I think that depends a lot on your budget, you can get a great host like :-

    www.orcsweb.com

but you pay for quality.. !

I have always liked webhost4life, I run my site on those guys and it only costs me 9.95 a month .. i've personally never had a problem, but a few people have had a few issues.

I'm with Scott, I also use Webhost4Life. No issues on my end with any of my sites.

I've gotta go with WebHost4Life too.
I've got 5 small sites - 2 DNN and 3 BVCommerce, 2 SSL certs, and four MS SQL dbs on one account. No problems.
They've been great with support and have helped guide me along the way too.

Yes, I made a chat with them today,
then go to buy and see they need upfront
    payment for full year.

Being extremely unhappy with othe host
providers I canceled my order. In looking for
suitable host I signed for CIHost and have had
the most terrible experience with any host
I've been. I sign in, begin to upload, then suddenly
the ftp dissapears?!? I call them and after being
on hold for 1 hour - a person responded - they
tell me a virus invaded their system. This situation
continues for 3 days - no response. Then I decided
to cancel - they get $70 setup fee but refuse to return
them back?!? After 2 days calling and calling - ok they
cancel my account, but the money will be returned back
    after 45 days?!?

Extremely stupid for them - I do not see how they can
    have any clients this way.

So with this bad experience, now I'm very careful paying
    upfront anything before to test.

Now I'm with Interland - good host but seems to me a little slow
sometimes. Also I want multople domains to be pointed to different
subdirectories - they do not do that. So I'm in a search for different
    host now.

I am also canceling my account on Monday at Interland .I have been trying for 3 weeks to install on their blue halo b300 getting this error always " DotNetNuke Configuration Error
Access to the path "\\atl.hosting.int\storage\IPSWX0020ATL2\user____\www/___\verify" is denied"
I also tried dotnetpark.com they installed the starter kit for me fine but I am needing more bandwith than they offer currently so I am still searching. I had a long talk with this place today http://www.hostedasp.net they said they can install it also but I have not heard much of them I am off to try webhostforlife this weekend since I hear more positive then negative on them.

Ok here are some of my experiences with before mentioned hosts

    CiHost
The virus you are talking about was the witty wurm, this didnt attacjed miscrosoft for a change but blackice and realsecure firewalls. And true, they did were down for a few days but in my 4 years hosting with them this was the only glitch I had. I have experiences with there shared and dedicated hosting and I was down a few days in 4 years. These few days was only that witty wurm incident hasnt kept me from staying with them.

    WH4L
Have about 6 accounts with them either for me or for portal cleints. For about a year ow cant say anything bad, you cant email them directly but there online support is great. Th one year advanced payment got me thinking in beginning as well but im glad I went with them. Even had a cleitn that canceled after 6 months and refund wa done fast and quick of the remaining 6 months

    TacticalSystems
Havent't been using them for too long about 2 months i would say. i have the reseller account because I sometimes require small extra databses to set up and on wh4l you only have one database, here for 29.95 i can have 25 databases so had to give that a try. So far no problems, they have a HELM control panel allowing you to maage virtually everthing you want. Support is great, i asked them to install dnn2 on my server ( instead of uploading the whole kaboodle myself ) and 10 minutes later i got an email back and everything was working.

with tactical you can have multiple domains pointing to subdirectories and to top this off, each of these domains can have there own email accounts ftp account users etc.

Hope this helps you choosing, thesea re just my findings. I know that there have been people having troubles with wh4l and tactical but as for me im very pleased with wh4l and pleasantly surprised with the tactical systems

Strike CIHOST, they will not allow full control for aspnet / network services acount on shared plans. Also no Subdomain control...

    With Interland the only problem
I've had has been the images not found
after I install DNN 2.0. And the problem
is that they map .gif and .jpg image requests
to asp.net. I posted solution for this problem in
    the forum.

Otherwise I hope Interland is fast enough. Other
problems with I do not see having in mind that
there is not a perfect solution. I've been shopping
around a while and as I see the things in the hosting
field change so fast that hosts being good now after
    several months probably don't.

Also seems they do not understand the meaning of masked
domain. They think that simply means an asp script (not asp.net!)
which redirects to different page through response.redirect?!?

I ask them how they handle the simple www request:
www.domain1.com/subdir/page1.html when my main domain is
www.MyDomain.com and domain1 is additional domain pointed to
MyDomain, they tell me this is not possible?!? All they can do is
to use asp script. That is their competence.

minor correction to Armand's post: WH4L $9.95 package is 2 SQL databases (not 1); 4 for their "higher priced" offereing.

I'm using CrystalTech. They are a little pricy, but for the amount of storage you get, I havn't seen a better deal. 16.95 for Access hosting but you get 300mb of space and 5 domains.

There support is great. When I first uploaded my dnn site, I gave the administrator admin rights to my site, he logged in, created a new tab, uploaded a file, and changed a skin on the new tab just to make sure everything was working.

CryatalTech is also in the process of giving the you complete control of the Network Services User via the Admin Control Panel, so you can set your own security..

    thanks,
