Could anyone recommend a good calendaring module for DNN 2.0

I used to use Avanced Systems AVCalendar 2.0 when I was using DNN 1.0.10, but it
    is not compatible with 2.0.

    Thanks all,
    Nathan

I'd like to see this as well... I've just set up 2.0.3 on my home box to test and I like it a lot! That calendar module was much more suitable for my purposes than the built in one.

    Hi Folks,

I have a question about the built-in standard Calendar/Events module. I am using it with the display format = List. I want to add an event which occurs every thursday. In the edit event options I can provide first a start date and then second: then what? - that is the question!

    Occurs every: (???) Week(s)

I can enter three digits in this field. I suppose "1" means "every", but this does have not the desired effect, because the date of the former week is still being displayed.

    Cheers,

I was using the LTPCalendar on DNN before I switched to 2.0. It was very cool but the author has said he has no interest in porting to DNN2. Maybe someone could get ahold of the source from him and port it?

    I personally love
    http://www.snowcovered.com/Snowcovered2/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=23&tabindex=0&f=PortalStore_CatalogItemDetails.ascx&CatalogItemID=44

Great interface, nice printable lists. A roll-up feature from sub to master calendars would be good (like the AV calendar), but I still give it a A!

Does anyone know the progress is on the AVCalendar conversion?
What issues were people having with it.

I keep delaying my project deadline and if there is anything
    I can help with.

    Thanks,
    Nathan

The developer of the LTPCalendar for DNN1 has released his source into the wild so that it can be modified to work on DNN2. This module is a big improvement over the one that is bundled with DNN and it would be awesome if someone could look at what it might take to do a quick port to DNN2. Unfortunately it is above my current ability to do it.

    Any volunteers?

for the record - it isn't that i don't have the interest, i just don't have the time. i have indeed posted the source for this module and will be posting the source for my other modules this weekend if those are of any interest to anyone as well. if someone does port any of my modules over to dnn 2, i'd like to receive a copy or at least a url so i can link to it.

    thanks,

    Matt,

Got it working. Not a full port, but it works fine. Need to create an Access Dataprovider and modify it to the new data access layer, but it seems to work fine. Let me know how to get it to you.
