Hi, Well to be really honest my GPA is bad :(. But I am doing C# for 1 year and made couple of projects. So my Question is Does Employer Look at GPA when Hiring.
Your first employer might. It is unlikely those after that will. However, if you are in a country where English is the language you expect to work in, I would brush up on that. If you are in a country where English is not the native language, I apologize, as
your English is far better than my grasp of whatever your native language is.
Hi there... I use to do the hiring process in my previous company, I did it for at least 3 years... Initially I looked at the GPA, but then I realized -after a couple mistakes :( - that the GPA really didn't mean anything. But I wouldn't say everyone feels
the same way... Some people might think is important to consider, specially if there is no experience... So... if you have no experience, it might be considered...
Well, you have over 300 posts on these forums, you must know a lot. ;) Try networking with a local .NET user group or, better yet, talk to your school's career counseling department.
Just leave the GPA off the resume. I thought I had a good GPA it's above 3.0 and I was informed that it should not be included unless above 3.5/4.0 Do you have any awards or certifications that is always nice too. If they are concerned they will ask for it.
But since you have some experience if you make the rest of your resume look good and you shine in the interview only a few companies would ask for it. At least that is my experience. Some companies have standard policy of checking GPA especially for intern/co-op
but most of them do not.
Ohh yes I can show examples. I have 2 university Projects and 1 my Church Project that I am completing at this moment. And I also made a Time Keeping Application for University of HOuston Main campus in C language. And Also made the Univerisyt of Houston Bowling
Website in HTML which they have now changed. I guess thats all I did :( uptil now. I guess I have to buy a webspace and a hoster and then host those projects.
