Is it possible to run DNN off of port 81? I had no problems doing so with the IBS portal, but I receive the following message when I try it with DNN 1.0.10:

    DotNetNuke ConfigurationError

Domain Name "localhost:81/dotnetnuke" Does Not Exist In The Database

Thanks. I tried that, but it didn't work. Then I decided to try it on another box and it worked. Now I just need to try and figure out what's different in how these 2 boxes are configured.

Which OS are you having the trouble? It should work on Servers; however, I have not tried it on XP pro.

I am running DNN just fine on port 81 here. The same DNN installation is actually running on two sites in IIS, one on port 80 (Extranet) and one on port 81 (Intranet). I didn't add localhost as an alias because I never run the portal from localhost. It isn't the cleanest setup but for the time being there are not many users and it is easy to manage.
