Hi all! My company is currently evaluating O/R Mappers. Below is a list of the ones I've checked out, and I'd like to know if there's more to see! LLBLGen Pro http://www.llblgen.com/defaultgeneric.aspx EntityBroker http://www.thona-consulting.com/content/products/entitybroker.aspx
Pragmatier http://www.pragmatier.com/ NEO http://neo.codehaus.org/ TierDeveloper http://www.alachisoft.com/index.htm Persistence.Net http://www.objectpersistence.com/ ORM.NET http://www.olero.com/ormweb Sisyphus http://sisyphuspf.sourceforge.net/ Objectz.NET
http://www.mongoosesolutions.com/mg/objectz_net.aspx Nolics.net http://www.nolics.net/ OJB.NET http://ojb-net.sourceforge.net/ OPF.NET http://www.littleguru.net/ NHibernate http://sourceforge.net/projects/nhibernate, no activity

::and dont forget object spaces Why not? He HAS to forget ObjectSpaces if he needs a product that he can USE. ObjectSpaces is end of the year stuff for most - if you start programming today, ObjectSpaces is not helpfull at all.
>He HAS to forget ObjectSpaces if he needs a product that he can USE. > >ObjectSpaces is end of the year stuff for most - if you start programming today, >ObjectSpaces is not helpfull at all. where does it say he needs it today? for all we know he might not
need to start using it for another year. in which case its a viable option.
::where does it say he needs it today? He posts it in a forum about current technology, not in the whidbey alpha groups. Ups. He also lists all 1.1 mappers. Also, you can read his answer imediatly after: he needs one now. ::XPO looks good. Are you using it
yourself? I had one customer (coming from the EntityBroker) looking at XPO - his words were NOT in favour of it. This is basically all I can say for it.
yes ive been using xpo and have found it very good it does have some shortcomings.. but they all do frankly xpo and sisyphus are my current favourites overall.. in terms of price, features, usability, object model etc.
I just found out about DataObjects.Net (http://www.x-tensive.com//Products/DataObjects.NET/). The product looks impressive. Does anyone have any experience with it?

My WilsonORMapper is an easy to use O/R mapper that is based on the syntax of MS ObjectSpaces. Its not going to give you all the advanced features of EntityBroker or LLBLGenPro, but
its a great start on O/R mapping for the basic CRUD with multiple databases.
