Can anybody confirm that the DNN 1.09 SP1 is due for released today 21 August 2003? Also I have read somewhere within another thread that SP1 will now be DNN 1.10 could the core team please clarify this?
I can tell you that the version number will be 1.0.10 not 1.10. The next major release is currently slated to be 1.1.0. Scott (aka mrswoop) is the 1.0.10 release/testing manager and he's the one who will give the final go ahead to Shaun to release it publicly.
I believe it is still scheduled for today. I know that the feedback from the beta testers so far has been pretty positive so I would imagine that sometime tonight (PST) we'll either get the final build or an explanation for a very minor delay. Jeremy

The service pack release (1.0.10) will not include the DAL. That feature is currently slated for the next major release - 1.1.0. There are a lot of core changes associated with the DAL and it would not be considered a "service pack" or bugfix release. A project

Hi pdn, i understand you well. But give the team a chance. They are working on it and it is not easy to create a well running version. So, take the time, play with the current version and the SP is comming, sooner or later. Tom
