  Why is ASP.net in my User accounts?

  I have no clue what ASP.net is... but how I found about is weird. Why is it that in my User Accounts ASP.net is set as a "Limited Account" and is "Password Protected" in my list of users on my computer?

  because you installed Windows XP service pack one, I suspect. I wouldn't worry - it's a system account required by the .NET framework. j

  Yes, I did install the service pack along with all the updates. So it wouldn't hurt it if I deleted that account?

  > So it wouldn't hurt it if I deleted that account? not unless you decide to become an ASP.NET web developer in the enar future. but you don't HAVE to delete it - it's not an account that can be used to attack your machine.
