how do you mean, 'under proxy'? There'd be no limitation particular to ASP.NET - just the usual limitations such as caching troubles and an IP address which is the proxy not the user.

in our office we have to justify that we need a private/no proxy network setup to gain full functionality of vs.net. maybe my question should be the limitation of asp.net using vs.net in network setup under proxy :) thnx
