What is the proble ???
You just check email id in your controller and if Email Id does not exist return error message or whatever you want.
Code sample :
public ActionResult ForgotPassword(ForgotPasswordModel model, string returnUrl)
//check existing email id
ModelState.AddModelError("", "This email id does not exist.");
// If we got this far, something failed, redisplay form

ASP.NET MVC project not all the options are fully implemented to the same extend that they are in a brand new ASP.NET WebForms project.
For example, the option to reset your own password if you forgot your old one is not available out of the box in an ASP.NET MVC project.
