OMG my VS2k12 is very slow.
Is there any way to fix that?
Is it the final version already?

VS2012 is RTM. Do you have any beta?
And you should see WHY is slow - see CPU, HARD loading ( windows 7 , task manager, resource monitor)

Are you sure you have the minimum requirements in your PC? Please check it first.
If it's there, scan your PC for virus.
Finally, run task manager and see if there is any process which takes high CPU and/or Memory. If there is any, you may need to stop it first.
If all doesn't work, it may be because of a bug in Visual Studio 2012. If you guess it's bug, you can report it

Hello, I was having the same problem, I use vs 2012 on win server 2012 and solved my problem by changing a setting in "Advanced system settings (System Properties) -> performance" Settings "button (Performance Options) -> Advanced tab ->" Processor scheduling
"group -> and adjust to" Programs "not for background services, this is default of server editions" - Good luck!

I agree, I'm using VS2012 with Update 1 on an i7 with 16Gb Ram and VS2010 leaves it for dead!! What's with the "Backround task" popup rubbish too, rather than just not do anything it tells you that it's not doing anything... yay what a feature. I also have
VS2012 installed on my work computer which is 4 Months old and also has an i7 and 4Gb of RAM it's even worse, does exactly the same slow things slowly...
