In my project I am solely responsible for the development and testing of the application.Only other guy involved is the Business Analyst who interacts with the client at the beginning for the requirement.
*** I am not aware of these SDLC methodologies. So i would like to know what are these methodologies, what is the difference btwn Agile and Scrum methods, is Scrum a subset of Agile or both are completely diff.
For a team involving 1 or 2 members(developers). What is the methodology used and Why?.
I will explain the process involved with my project...so that u can tell me what is the methodology used.
1) Initial requirement gathering by business analyst, then he shares the details with me.
2) Depending on the requirement initially I design a User Interface and share it with the client. If the client approves well and good, I will go ahead with the implementation.
3) Once the coding part is completed...I start testing the application and share the link with the Client for testing.Once the client is satisfied with the results...we move it to production after business hours(becos of enhancement to existing proj).Again
the application is tested by the User and me.If everthing goes well thats it.
Only for one project I was working with another team member..becos she has to schedule a job using SSIS which i am not aware of.
So it is a team of two for this project.I would like to know what is this methodology called or which is the methodology best suited for a team of 1 and a team of 2.

From the link u posted, I understood that scrum is one of agile methodology. That is fine. But i had mentioned that I am solely responsible for the development of a application.Just a dead line is given like within 2 months it has to be completed. Before moving
to the production server we provide the link to Client for testing and if everything goes well.We will dump it into prod server. So the interaction with the client happens at the max 2-3 times for in between testing.
So I guess , methodology used is Incremental model.
Am i Right?

First finalize all requirment and break it into stories.
Then give weight to each and every story as per scrum and maintain sprint backlog.
as you mentioned, you need to complete project in 2 months then you can have 3 sprints.
you will have 15 days for each sprint (3*15 = 45 days), remaining 15 days will be use for spring planinng, story grooming and demos.
Each and every sprint should deliver something to end user and you can have review/demo after each sprint to end user\client.
