I have read the you can use Visual Sourcesafe 2005 with Visual Studio 2012.
But I cannot get it to work as an integrated product as in VS 2008.
Anyone been able to do this?
I know TFS is the new big way to go. But I do not need all that TFS offers. Way over kill for me.
Thanks

Why don't you try TortoiseHg. Its free opensource and far better than VSS.
Just put some effort to learn it

In Visual Studio 2012 go to: Tools > Options > Source Control > Plug-in Selection
Click "Ok"
