I found a Domain Check Web Service on XMethods.NET but I think it doesn't work properly and almost always I receive "Unavailable" for each domain I check (Which I'm sure it is available!). If you see This Web Service Message Board you'll see some other users
have the same problem. Does anyone test this web service? Can you solve my problem? Does anyone know another Domain Check Web Service?

I found a SOAP web service that provides the functionality.
http://www.webservicex.net/whois.asmx?op=GetWhoIS The only downside is it only returns .com, .net, and .edu
I will probably be using it on my new Domain Watching site (to snag domains that expire.) http://www.DomainGuarder.com
If anyone knows of any other services that return more than .com, .net, and .edu, please let me know!
