OK, when I open my Visual Studio web application there are multiple projects included. When I click on one of the projects (web app) the visual studio crashes.
Is there a log I can look at to see what is happening? Also, I've had to reinstall (repair) VS2012 RC a few times because of some conflicts with other versions. So maybe that is related?

I am re-installing VS2012 RC from the web installer; not doing a repair. I will let you know if that works. If it is a common executable error, it should get overwritten by reinstalling.
That didn't work. I think the next thing would be to uninstall and re-install it.
This is the only project that my VS crashes on. I tested it with a different web application and it was fine. Maybe the one web project got corrupt? I need to load it asap.
I will see if uninstalling and re-installing works.
I opened up a backup and it still didn't work. I am thinking this is an install problem. I will uninstall and re-install VS2012. I will let you know what happens. Did you look at the errors that I was getting.
A little more investigation concluded that this isn't the opening of the project that is the problem. It is when the solution explorer can see some of the files that is when it crashes.
I hope the release is a little bit better than this version....frusterating.

When I say "click" I mean to bring down the other files in the tree off to the right hand side. This only crashes when I click on that project...
Any thoughts?

Only with this Web application that I know of....
I am re-installing VS2012 RC from the web installer; not doing a repair. I will let you know if that works. If it is a common executable error, it should get overwritten by reinstalling.

That didn't work. I think the next thing would be to uninstall and re-install it.
This is the only project that my VS crashes on. I tested it with a different web application and it was fine. Maybe the one web project got corrupt? I need to load it asap.
I will see if uninstalling and re-installing works.

I think your project got currupted. try to open it on some other machine save another copy by 'Save as' and then try on you current machine.

I opened up a backup and it still didn't work. I am thinking this is an install problem. I will uninstall and re-install VS2012. I will let you know what happens. Did you look at the errors that I was getting.
A little more investigation concluded that this isn't the opening of the project that is the problem. It is when the solution explorer can see some of the files that is when it crashes.
I hope the release is a little bit better than this version....frusterating.
