I uninstalled SQL Server 2008 from my computer and installed SQL Server 2012 with a new instance name.
I created bew report using SSRS 2012. When I click on preview I found it shows at the output panel
"Building the report, Report1.rdl, for SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services."
Why is it building using Sql Server 2008 R2 report service? My computer do not have any Sql Server 2008 anymore.

My guess is that it is due to the report being developed in 2008. Couple of potential solutions:

Thank you for the reply.
I created new project and new report in the project, still shows in the output panel "Building the report, Report1.rdl, for SQL Server 2008 R2 Reporting Services."
But I do not have SSRS 2008 even installed in the computer.

Have you tried getting into the rdl file (I believe it is XML) to look for the text? It should be in a variable within the file.
If you dont have an XML tool, just open the file in notepad and complete a free text search for the text "2008", keep clicking "next" until you eventually find it.
If you create a new default RDL, you can then find the same vairable and copy paste the text from the new rdl (created from 2012) to this one.
If this doesn't work, I am out of ideas.
