Plan, develop, test, document, and administrate internal and external web applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrate support of corporate values, mission and vision. Performs job duties within these standards and in accordance with the guidelines of Kitsap Credit Union bylaws and regulations.
Assist in all phases of the development cycle including the planning, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of applications.
Administrate web applications according to specifications.
Assist systems administrators, Desktop Technicians and IT Operations staff to provide technical support on developed software and applications to credit union employees and members.
Assist in executing performance and security tests on new and existing software for the purposes of measuring efficiency, correcting mistakes, identifying areas for improvement, and eliminating security concerns.
Prepare and present information on the status of projects to outside departments and eBusiness members.
Assist in the development and maintenance of user manuals and guidelines including operating and technical documentation for eBusiness web applications.
Assist in the review and evaluation of existing workflows and process within departments to determine efficiencies and areas for improvement.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality relative to any information received directly or indirectly at all times.
Prepare tests applications for monitoring web performance and provide performance statistics and reports.
As required, function as a liaison with third-party vendors and service providers.
As required, conduct research and evaluate web service products and tools.
Manage full spectrum of testing from regression to unit.
Organize, document, and report analytical data from systems.
Contribute to effective department and Credit Union operations by performing other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree or any combination of education and experience which would provide the qualifications for the position.
Experience with high volume e-commerce sites would qualify candidate further.
Experience in a software development life cycle methodology, including all phases of analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance.
Strong hands-on experience resolving technical issues, including analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with the following Environments a plus (Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server, ASP.net, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS).
Skillful in presentation software such as Microsoft VISIO and Office as well as screen capturing tools such as SnagIt.
STRONG written and oral communication skills with the ability to present ideas and concepts to users of all technical levels.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
An understanding and appreciation for Agile Development.
Self motivated and directed, with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Experience with project management software will be looked at favorably.

Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Requires the ability to work on a computer for long periods of time.
Requires the ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, bend and stretch.
Requires the ability to work in an office environment.
