Hi
I am new to Dot net technoledge. Basically I am a Oracle oriented person, now like to learn dot net. Kindly suggest me where to start to learn dot net.

Hi,
First you should know the ASP.NET Page Life cycle.
There are lots of material avaliable on internet but I recommend following links which will help you to startup and lear very quickly.
There some vedio tutorials are available which is important to get practicle stuffs and sample codes too.
Learn ASP.NET..

you need to learn one language atleast like VB.net or C#
upon that you need to learn a technology that depends on what type of application you want to develop
1) windows
2) web
3) silverlight
4) WPF
etc

As you said You have some background of Oracle Orientation.. It means you will Learn very fast..
In .NET
Windows Clients (WinForms or WPF) - http://windowsclient.net/

Silverlight/RIA applications - http://www.silverlight.net/
You can Learn by Books or Websites Given Below
And to go through with .NET you should have Some Command on .C# to Comunicate with .NET
I will Prefer the Below Book I have the Hard copy of this book, and Trust me It helped me In my MCTS.

First you need to understand what is Microsoft.NET and why it is created? What are the Pro and Con's!
I suggest you to go through that first before going indepth of .NET technology!
