i am new to mobile application development . i like to make a app which will work on diffent mobile plateform like i-phone, android, blackberry. is there a way to make a generic app which will work on every plateform or i have to make app for individual
mobile oS. i have heard about phonegap to make mobile app for diff mobile os . am i heading to right direction. pls guide me.
Each mobile development has its development code and language, windows uses .NET, Android used Java and iOS uses C, the only way to develop cross-platform app is to develop it using HTML5 and javascript, you can try MoSync for this approach
Basically any executable is OS dependant and so mobile apps. There are plug ins that allow you to write in one language and deploy to multiple OS platforms. Basically the plugin will make separate executables for each OS platform.
There are pros and cons... but you could try this that allows .net and c#
You can also use C#/XAML and you can now successfuly learn it through online training from Microsoft Virtual Academy. Their training course on phone app development is designed to guide developers who are looking to leverage C#/XAML to build cool apps. For
more information you can visit their website.

Hello,
You can use ASP.NET MVC4 mobile features for that. Check out the below video too.
