  syntax error - hyperlink in <td>

  I cant seem to get the syntax right ... im trying to place a hyperlink inside a HTML table cell but i cant seem to get the " to work 

  I am fairly sure its a quote/single quote problem!

  this is what i've tried so far

  TableStartUp.Text &= "<td onclick=" & "location.href='www.google.com'" & ">" & VARIABLE.TEXT & "</td>"

  TableStartUp.Text &= "<td> < a href =" & "'www.google.com'"& ">" & VARIABLE.TEXT & " </a></td>"

  Try this

  TableStartUp.Text &= "<td><a href='www.google.com'>" & VARIABLE.TEXT & "</a></td>"
