We have a new version of our website coming out and we are migrating users to a totally new authentication method where their basic information will exist but little to none of their exiting credentials including password. can anyone recommend a strategy
for migrating users to a new authentication method or provide any links that would help with this including verification techniques to insure that the person reregistering on our new website is who they say they are?
Based on your description, you can follow the link sukumarraju provided to extend the registration process by adding an email verification step. That will help you to verify. For details about it, please check video.
Best wishes,
