I need to provide an editor to the end user with all the features available in ms word and also provide edit,update and save options of the document in asp.net application.

is it possible to insert a table using this edior. How to convert the html code to word content with specified fomat.

Yes with this control extender you can write complete HTML

I am unable to saw the table link in the editor. please give a guidence how to show the table button.

TinyMCE....CKEditor....AJAX HtmlEditor Extender etc....try those for html editing and creating...

Thanks for your response. But i need to show/edit the word document in the browser(ex ie, firefox, chrome, safari etc...).
