I can't find anything about LTAF for the last 2 years, and all the source code links point to non-existant projects on codeplex.
Is this project dead? Is there any alternative we can use?

LTAF is not dead and there is an updated version going tobe peublished very soon (probably on next week). This time it will be open for contributions so anyone could propose changes that will be reviewed and checked in.
