I cannot connect MS SQL server 2005.
then I check on SQL Server Configuration Manager.
MSSQLSERVER service is stopped.
I tried starting this service again & again. but it shows same error like below:
the request failed or the service did not respond in a timely fashion. Consult the event log or orther applicable error logs for details.
I choose Local System in Log on as dropdownlist of Properties box of sql server service.
I also startup parameters like below:
-dc:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\DATA\master.mdf;-ec:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\LOG\ERRORLOG;-lc:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\DATA\mastlog.ldf
pls help me, how I have to do starting SQL.
if nobody responds, I have to reinstall SQL server.

SQL Server Network Configuration Protocols for MSSQLSERVER èVIA Should be disabled.

I disabled MSSQLSERVER eVIA but I am not still OK.
I stopped all services including MSSQLExpress, then I tried to start MSSQLSERVER,
it is running again, but I tried to start MSSQLExpress, I can't start it.
I also tried with both local system & local service in Logon as dropdownlist.
very confusing problem.
