Is it just me or do other people have problems using this feature when publishing their projects? What happens to me is I will update images/css/aspx on my local copy and they are not updated on the server. It could be files that I changed within the last
minute or files changes a week ago. This forces me to do a "delete all existing files prior to publish" which is a huge problem as user uploaded data (word docs, pdf, images, etc) get wiped.
MS says not reproducible but it just happened to me, had to select the delete option. Stopping the IIS server did not help. I was able to modify the name of the dll manually at the destination so appears not to be a file locking issue. Something wrong
with the replace option not using modify dates of files or version.

Hi
I think it's host by IIS when the web page published.
So you can't local copy or delete, try to use IIS to do it.
