I just create a new thread . Can find it with google. there is even a good answer already. However, the thread is not searchable inside this forum, not even by the full name of its title.
"Will AspNet MVC 4 still be open source"
Let me take this opporutnity to say that on all MS sites for the last 12 years, search never ever worked in any forum. Still wondering about that fact.
I'm trying to repro this, but I am able to find the thread successfully at
http://forums.asp.net/search, both when enclosing the title in quotes, and not in quotes. There is 1 result for the former, and 20 results for the latter.

I just searched for the title:
Will AspNet MVC 4 still be open source
and I got back 20 hits (2 pages) with your thread showing up on page 2 for me (that thread is about 5 hours old).
Then i searched for:
Search does not work
and i got back over 7600 results. so i changed the sort to newest first and the top result was this thread here (about 1.5 hours old).
Did you click into the 2nd page of search results when you couldnt find your thread??
