I am just starting to work with the AjaxControlToolkit and I have a weird problem with an extender on an ASP site.
I did the following:
When I now load the page and click the textbox nothing happens. After I cause an Autopostback with another element on the page, and then click the textbox, the Calender pops up as it normally does when I click the textbox and I can choose the date. Same
thing happens for example with a ColorPickerExtender and another textbox.
Does anybody have an idea, why the calender extender only works after the postback?

I followed your steps to create a calendar control, and it worked succesfully for me. You may try to include as less controls as possible, see if this issue comes up again. Also, see if the problem comes in every of your projects, if that is the case, see
if your toolkit has targeted the right version of your .net framework.
