  Can't install on Win8

  I cannot install the lastest asp.net mvc4 for VS11 includes Web API on Win8 DP via WebPI.

  I see the message "The product you are trying to install is not supported on your operating system...".

  Please help me ;o;

  Not sure there is anything you can do it fix this issue.  There is a new build of windows 8 due out at the end of month and I think a new version of vs11.  Hopefully the new version of vs11 will support mvc 4

  Everything I have read is that the mvc4 and the latest build of wepapi is not compatiable on Win8.  As Ken mentioned, I suspect that the update at the end of the month will solve this problem.

  That is correct. The MVC 4 Beta installer will not run on any combination of Win8/VS11/.NET 4.5 Developer Preview. Once the VS11 Beta ships (soon) MVC 4 will be included in the VS installer. We will also release an installer that will allow you to install MVC 4 Beta bits on the upcoming Win8 release.
