Ok...after 15 hours of research and attempts at resolving the issue I have had some success. In the IIS 6.0 application pools I have DefaultAppPool, MSExchangeAutoDiscoverAppPool set to v.2.0/Integrated/LocalSystem which stops automatically after a while
the same for SBS Sharepoint AppPool, SBS Web Applications Application pool and Wsuspool. CORRECTION: THE DEFAULTAPPPOOL AND THE LAST THREE APPLICATION POOLS ARE RUNNING WITH IDENTITY>NETWORKSERVICE
The SBS 2008 server is running on service pack 2 with two processors. From what I have gathered with the help of many here, (thanks), is a permission issue.
This is what I have gathered so far:
From DSA.MSC reset the password for the "MyBusiness>Users>SBSUsers>Windows SBS Internet Web site Account" user account to a complex password.
Sync the password for domain\spwebapp from elevated SharePoint 2010 Management Shell:
Set-SPManagedAccount -UseExistingPassword -Identity domain\spwebapp
Provide password from step 1.
Run repair to verify that passwords are synced:
I cannot find where the Windows SBS Internet Web site Account is, (this is new to me), and this particular process (above) is strictly for SBS 2011 Standard, Iam running SBS/2008 Windows Server Standard FE with Service pack 2. I am almost there.
Anybody out there who can chime in and help resolve this issue will have candles lit to his name by me......
