I am developing Asp.net application in .net 4.0 version. In that application am developing chart report for the emloyee list to shows name and number task having that employee.
The chart shown defaultly in multiview view1 with chart.
Here i need to clcik the chart bar to view the details task for in gridview in multiview view 2.
I am got the solution only to add url to each datapoint chart and redirect to view the detail in other page.
Here now am need to view the detail in same page...!
I need to find click option with argument of empId....also changing the mulitiview index..
How to overe come this problem?
plz help me..?

In chart element add OnClick="chrt_Click"
PostBackValue as below
can hold the values mentioned in this URl
then in click event you can get
sender, ImageMapEventArgs e)

I am using in chart,
X - bar = empname
Y-bar = emptask(number of task of an employee)
But am need a parameter(empid) value other than above X , Y.....
How to bind empid also in that chart(like grid view commandarguments).
The chart show X,Y values ...But chart click event i need the empid(that is other than X,Y value )
How to bind empid indirectly and get this id from click event...?
Iam the beginner of asp.net ....Plz give the solution with some source code..!

Im not sure actually to bind that extra id column,but I have a wrk around fr that...
you can use the index #INDEX value in the postback value.It will give you the location of the point.
sno empid Name
1 32 Guru
2 33 siva
S.no & index no will match
