Which web servers can ASP.NET run on except IIS? Will any of them run in Windows 7 Home Premium?

Hello,
You can run Apache as well. But why you need to run other web servers on Windows machine?

First, I want to see if it was possible and second I would like to learn another host to work with...Do you know how well ASP.NET runs on Apache? I guess I dont expect it to run exactly the same as on IIS but its worth a try.

Hi,
the first choice for ASP.NET should be IIS, because it is the primary hosting environment. But with the help of the Mono project and this thread you could try it yourself - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5247383/how-to-run-asp-net4-0-website-on-apache-server

I think only apache besides IIS, but it's not suggested to use it for asp.net purpose because no much support available.

If you have Windows 7 home premium, why not use IIS 7.5?
