We are a Tech Track 100 mobile phone services company in the Victoria area of London. We advertise and distribute mobile apps, music downloads, live Tarot card readings, football goal alerts, etc to mobile phone users in over 15 countries. We deliver content
via MSN chat, SMS, MMS, WAP sites, web site, and app stores. We use Java J2EE, SQL Server, ASP, .NET, MYSQL, and PHP, hosted in a VMWare virtual environment in a Tier 1 data centre.
You will be working at head office as part of the Technical Operations Team, communicating directly with product managers both internal and working at client companies. Your job will be to understand what is being asked, translate that into a coherent list
of service behaviours, implement those behaviours for a live ASP .NET site, test your implementation, and then deliver the finished product to the client.
You will be working alongside experts in a range of technologies. You will be working with non-technical product managers, helping them come up with the best user experience that generates the most profit for the business.
This is a high pressured role, essential to the business, that requires an eye for detail. You must be a self-starter. You must be able to prioritise your own time. You must pride yourself in getting it right the first time -- even when the client is unclear
of exactly what right means.
experience is highly recommended.
