Hi all, I'm on moving an asp.net application from an Vista machine to a Win 7 machine. I have been successful migrating the application and setting it up except for being able to transmit emails. When the application tries to send an email I encountered
the following error message:
"Mailing failed: When making a request as an account that does not have a mailbox, you must specify the mailbox primary SMTP address for any distinguished folder Ids."
Has anyone encountered this issue before? Any thoughts as to what the cause of the issue may be? My guess is the source of my issue comes from web.config Appreciate any help provided to fix this to allow the application to send emails.
Thank you in advance,

Give a try adding the mail setting in the web.config
<mailSettings> <smtp from="email@example.com"> <network host="smtp.company.com" port="25" userName="username" password="password"/> </smtp></mailSettings>
