Would like to seek some suggestions from the experts in this forum on the following requirement. We have very old VB6 applciation which has used lot of Spreadsheet functionlaity [OWC11] for data entry and most of the grids in third party tools like Formula
One. We are thinking to migrate this application to either web based or client based technology like ASP.NET or VB.NET (clinet).
But would like to know if we need to rewrite this applciation or there are some tools which can covernt the code form VB6 to VB.NET/ASP.NET directly which was coded in OWC11 components and Formula One Grids.

Converting the application to VB.NET can be definitely rewarding so you could give it a try.
Usually when you open up an application visual studio will ask you to convert it. However, there are also third party tools
Take a look at that http://www.vbmigration.com/

Edited :
You can always give a try with the below tools available :)
a) ArtinSoft
b) visualweb gui
Both are microsoft partners in migrating the VB6 apps into rich ASP.NET web application.
thanks,
