In an effort to make continuous impovements to the ASP.NET website based on customer feedback, we are excited to announce the beta launch of a redesigned
www.ASP.net website at
http://beta.asp.net!
This redesign is still a work in progress, but we wanted everyone to get a look at where we are heading with the look and feel, and some of the new UX that will hopefully make content easier to find. You’ll notice that the overall navigation is largely
the same, but you will see an improved site design and navigational framework that makes finding information on the site easier. Here are some highlights of the redesign:
Move to a newer Information Architecture (IA)
Content organized into relevant topic areas (Overview, Videos, Tutorials, etc.) to make information easier to find and to learn
Improved onboarding experience – developers new to ASP.NET will find it easier to get started
Important Samples and Tutorials are positioned prominently in the structure of the site so that they are easier to find
A modern and less cluttered user experience to give you a better look and feel
Not all content is currently accessible on the Beta site, and not all of the features are in place, but please give it a test drive and let us know what you think! The ASP.NET team, working with Neudesic, will continue to iterate over the information architecture
and design in the coming weeks, and we are targeting to launch the redesigned site by the end of November.
We are using the UserVoice site to collect, track, and respond to
improvement suggestions for this website Beta:
www.asp.net feedback on UserVoice. We welcome your feedback!
