I would like to know the easiest/simple and the quick way of creating a simple railway reservation applciation.
I am just lookign for login screen/ Available trains/ book trains fucntionality......
Can MVC help to do that? If you have any articles/tutorials or video links, can you please share it?

I have a query.... I am creating a custom DB where I have tables like users, trains, staions etc...
Can I use MVC frameworks' default logon integrated with this custom DB... if yes, how do i do it?

Is there any sample tutorial/video which has logon fucntionality and then controlling views for the logged on users?
I just want to verify if the user logged on is in the DB, and allow him to do furhter operations..

ASP.NET has a Membership API which you can use easily with your MVC app. Here is an example. it's for ASP.NET 2.0 but you will get the idea :
