I am self-learner ( i dont know if its the right way to write this). I live in Brazil and i am studying asp.net by myself.
Due to do the tax i have to buy many books at the same time.
My objective is to develop dynamic websites, like match.com , date.com, facebook.com , twitter , not the exact idea, i am just givining example.
Now, i am on the console applications. I pretendo to move to web soon.
I already have :
Wrox Programmer Professional c# and .net 4
http://www.amazon.com/Professional-4-0-NET-Wrox-Programmer/dp/0470502258/ref=sr_1_8?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1304635657&sr=1-8
Sql Server 2008
http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft%C2%AE-Server%C2%AE-2008-Step-Microsoft/dp/0735626049/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1304635805&sr=1-4
Now i am having problems in wich books should i purchase now:
My intention is to buy the following:
------------Beginning ASP.NET 4: in C# and VB (Wrox Programmer to Programmer)
http://www.amazon.com/Beginning-ASP-NET-VB-Wrox-Programmer/dp/0470502215/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1304635903&sr=1-2
this one seems to aproach WebSites very good
---------Murach's ASP.NET 4 Web Programming with C# 2010
http://www.amazon.com/Murachs-ASP-NET-Web-Programming-2010/dp/1890774618/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1304634837&sr=1-3
this one seems to aproach WebSites very good too
------------------------
Programming Entity Framework
http://www.amazon.com/Programming-Entity-Framework-Julia-Lerman/dp/0596807260/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1304635305&sr=1-1
-------------------------------
I am now sure about if this entity framework its necessary.
And i would like to know if i should purchase a MVC book or should i train with this books first and later move to mvc.
I need a light my friends, hehe
Thx

ASP.NET MVC is very different from ASP.NET WebForms. In my opinion you should read books (or watch video tutorials) on there subjects:
there are plenty of videos from conferences like mvcConf2 or MIX11 which are free to watch. You will also find tutorials fro MVC3 here on this site

wont serve for nothing if i use MVC in the future?
isn´t it good as an introduction to make an website? i know nothing of the asp.net that concerns website...

Not really...let's say 10% from the book will be "reusable" if you move to MVC.
You can buy the book and read blogs, tutorials and watch presentations about MVC3. Won't hurt if you learn both ASP.NET WebForms and ASP.NET MVC
