I have just started building an ASP.NET Web Service using Visual studio 2005 pro. I have selected HTTP as the location and am using the localhost, I have not added any code yet. However when i run the Web Service i receive the following message!
This error (HTTP 403 Forbidden) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage.
I am at a loss of how to fix this

You can right click on the directory where site is and on the security tab add IUSR_... and give read permissions.
