Also I'm glad to see that you are merging it with MSDN community technology but still keeping the asp.net community recognition
rtpHarry
It would have been heart breaking to find the tech had been merged and we had to start again.
Can anyone please explain it in detail or can provide links to read in detail?
What I am referring to here is that the recognition systems are different on the two platforms - asp.net is isolated but all topics under the sun are merged together in the main MSDN forums as far as I know.
The reason that I am saying that it has been merged with the MSDN technology is that there is now a "powered by MSDN" icon at the top so I have assumed thats what this means.
Clicking next on the last page in a thread isn't disabled - It doesnt cause an error though, the page just reloads
Clicking the Quick Reply link - The javascript doesnt return false to cancel the click so it adds the hash tag onto the end which makes the page jump to the top of the page
Quick Reply / Reply - Inconsistent positioning of Post button
The reason that I am saying that it has been merged with the MSDN technology is that there is now a "powered by MSDN" icon at the top so I have assumed thats what this means.
is it so. its nice...... but who can confirm it?
also two problem i am facing in new design....
1. how to know who is online? (for all posters who made a post either original poster or those they made replies).
earlier if we know who is online then it was easy to communicate.
*** As this time i know rptHarry is online(with a little image) as i am using old design.
2. how to know that how many post have some replies which i have made?( as eatlier those posts were bold).

(1) The font-size seems a just a tad too small, as generally seems to be the case
for me with the jquery ui "flick" them.
(2) The width of the "Reply" sections is too wide; meaning,
you have too many words on a single line. The max number
of words before readability becomes an issue is 14-16.
(3) The font-color for links is too bright. It may help to tone it down a bit.

I just tried to use the Insert/Edit tool from within a Quick Reply window and the tool gave me a series of JavaScript errors.
I was trying to reply to tmorton's first reply on this topic.
