There is a security update published that handles the threat desribed in MS10-070.
My question is if this update has also been delivered through Windows Update. If not, we would have to get in contact with all our customers that have a ASP.NET app. If it is pushed through windows update we do not have to do that since then it is a responsability
of the provider.
My second question is how I could check if the update has been installed on a server. On a server I have run all updates and checked the installed update section in add/remove programs, but I do not know what to look for.

You will see that security updates are available from windows updates
