Summary: I need an event booking system. I have two clients who may need this fairly soon and one I can sell this option to them after this is developed. One of my clients is providing at their location self defense, firearm, etc. training.
One of my clients is an inflatable bouncer business. The third (who could possibly use this product) has bay-side lodgings.
Tasks:
Firearm safety - I need it to display on a calendar the available venue dates. When the user clicks on event/date, it provides them a description of the event with a link to register. When the user clicks on the Register link, it collects their billing
and credit card information and allows them to reserve their attendance spot for the event. I found one that does exactly all that, except it is in DotNetNuke and my site's CMS will be in Sitefinity, .net 2.0. I do not know what it will take to marry the
two if the two can be tied together (even if I have to resort to iframes). The applications needs to store the registration information, automatically process the credit card (and verify, use PayPal as the gateway), send an e-mail to the site's owner that
someone registered, and sends a confirmation e-mail to the user that everything went through. So I need a quote for what it will take to do this.
Infaltable business - in a tabular layout display the various inflatables (and this needs to be flexible to add or remove inflatables as well, so no hard coding) with their description and photo. There are various packages and other things they will need
to have the ability to reserve such as generator, etc. Once the user selects the unit(s), specifies the date(s) they wish to rent them, and the other information, it needs to automatically check the availability of the unit(s) for that date. If thumbs up,
take them to a payment processing page (using Paypal) to allow user to pay the deposit. If thumbs down, to let the user know the x unit is not available for x date(s). This will allow them to pick another or different unit rather than all or nothing. If
thumbs up, process order. Administrator will need an e-mail notifying them a booking has taken place, the card was charged, and the other information all by e-mail. The user will get an e-mail confirmation that the order has been processed. Need a serparate
quote. This site is an asp.net 2.0 website with NO CMS.
Lodging - The client has four cabins. Needs a simple booking system that on a calendar allows a visitor to pick a day/date(s) to rent the cabin, and select how many they wish to rent (like one customer can rent 1 up to all 4). User fills out their information
and credit card, verifies card, locks the cabin(s) for the visitor and displays that status on the public calendar for the number of available cabins or "no cabins available". User gets an e-mail confirmation. Adminsitrator gets an e-mail giving them all
the user's information. This site is using Sitefinity CMS and .net 2.0. I need a serpate quote.
What I need from you
I need a quote outlining that you understand the task and provide me a price (firm price, not floating price) for what it will take to develop it with minor flexibility if we need to tweak it some. I'd like (if possible) all the stuff to be in .net controls
so it will be simply a matter of dragging and dropping it into place. Don't worry about font tags and stuff, I will take care of styling. Once you complete the work and the client is satisfied (and I receive payment from them), I will pay you either check
or online (whichever you prefer). If you are concerned that I won't take your stuff and run and you get nothing, think again. I have a number of contract developers who all work this way. We are very honest with our dealings.
