I am lost between VS2010, MSSQLServer2008 and VS2008 setups and where to look for/report to the bugs on VS2010.
I installed MS SQL Server 2008 Express [1a] as part of VS2010 RC setup [1] from a mounted on E:\ image [1].
(Well, after that I installed VSTS2008SP1 and MSSQLServer2008R2 Developer on Windows XP SP3, all in en-us)
Now, I cannot start SQL Server(SQLExpress) service [1a].
Eventvwr.msc shows [4] that this service is trying to read and write to mounted drive E:\ from which VS2010RC [1] was installed.
Is it something by design?
known problem?
bug?
my fault?
virus?
What are possible walk-arounds?
If it is a bug then where to report it - to MSSQLServer2008 connect or to VS2010?
I even could not launch or understand anything from [1a], like a version, etc. in order to report it to SQL Server connect.
