I am using forms authentication and the login web control. I would like to do additional processes after the user has logged in and has been authenticated. I tried using User.Identity.IsAuthenticated(), etc in the Login controls isLoggedIn event but is always
Does anyone know what event should I be capturing after the user has successfully logged in and is authenticated....or alternative method?

It seems it will be false always, see scott's reply in this thread.

LoggedIn event gets fired only when user gets successfully authenticated. Again no need to check for user's identity.

As stated the LoggedIn event is fired after the user has successfully been authenticated. If you are trying to use it for example to direct your users to specific pages based on the role you have then assigned to, you could do the following.
protected void Login1_LoggedIn(object sender, EventArgs e)
if (Roles.IsUserInRole(Login1.UserName, "Administrator"))
