I realize that MPS won't provision on Ex2010 (I'm assuming you're referring to that) - that wasn't my question. My question was if the Schema extensions (and other modifications) necessary for Ex2010 deployment interfere with (or break) MPS.
The plan is to set up an Ex2010 environment and use a different provisiong system, but we don't want to set up a new forest (with all the additional stuff that goes along with it).
Don't think it will break anything but it isn't tested so, nobody knows. I will wait till Microsoft publish the migration guide to Ex2010 hosting, which should be soon.

Ex2010 - HMC coexistence
Apr 30, 2010 06:09 PM|LINK
Hi All,
has anyone done this? Anything to report - pitfalls, showstoppers etc?
I've read through a ton of documentation and it seems to me it should work fine (??)
Thx in advance!
Marcus.
