I'm thinking of writing an RSS feed with 365 items, one for each day of the year. I want to output the data for each day's specific item plus the previous 9 items.
1. I'd look to filter the data using the XMLDataSource's XPath property. Is this possible?
2. If I want to make the feed available to others to do the same thing, is there a way I can do the filtering using XSLT embedded in the XML file?
3. Can anyone tell me how feed readers or XmlDataSource controls update the feed's content. Do they use the <lastBuildDate> field, the file's last modified date, the <pubDate> of the most recent item or something else?
