I am a Comp Sci student, with a broad idea of theory and computation of programming. I'd like to move into ASP.NET(VB.net and C#), I think I'm ready.
I've searched Amazon.com for some books, but have found mixed reviews. I'd like to see some of the books you guys would reccommend. Thanks in advance.

Hey mate,
Get the one by Imar Spaanjaars. Great book and I'm confident the Amazon ratings will back my claim up.
There's a new one for .NET 4.0 coming out which should be even better.
Full title: beginning ASP.NET 3.5 (or the new 4.0) in C# and VB
