I have installed sql server 2008 express and reporting services.
After installation of sql reporting services, im not able to see reports related virtual directory in iis and not able to see the report manager.
I have configured the virtual directory through using Report service Configuration tool too but still im not able to run the report manager
Could anyone please guide me on how to run the SSRS 2008 reporting services report manager?
Thanks in advance.

Please check Start->SQL Server 2008->Configuration Tools->Report Server Configuration Manager and click on Connect button which should connect to Report Manager.
Otherwise type in http://computername:8080/ReportServer it should display all the details of Report server.

Please check whether the services are running for reporting. Check start->SQL Server 2008->Configuration Tools->SQL Server Configuration Manager->SQL Server Reporting Services(MSSQL SERVER).
Check start->SQL Server 2008->Configuration Tools->Reporting Services Configuration Manager
->and click on connect and Web Service URL menu option which will be in left side and check for Virtual Directory which will point to Report Server and there will be hyperlink with Report Server Web Server URLs as caption URLS: http://computername:8080/ReportServer.
Copy that hyperlink and paste in browser, you should see the details of Report server
http://computername:8080/ReportS to see the reports in your webserver

Thanks for your reply. I followed your steps and found my reporting services are running fine and i can click connect and see the URL.
I dont see any virtual directory folder created while ocnfiguring through reporting services configuration manager.
Please let me know whether i have to create the virtual directories on my own to point Report server and Reports folder.
IF yes, then where these folders will reside in the program files folder.
Once again thanks for your reply.

You no need of creating virtual folder, when you connect to Report Manager configuration select webService URL, Mention ReportServer Virtual Directory and ReportServer Web service Site Identitification, mention
IP Address: All Assigned(Recommanded)
SSL Certificate: Not Selected
SSL Port: Blank and click on Apply button it will create Virtual Directory.
