    Hi mods,

    I have been browsing through the DataPresentationControls at this forum.
    Came across this post: http://forums.asp.net/t/1489983.aspx
    Was  surprised to see that member rodusa is a Member since Wed, Jan 01,
    at the mini stat provided for every poster at the left side of every posts

    Mini Stat os rodusa










    And I thought; wow! a member from 2003!
    So I clicked on rodusa link to view details and was surprised to see this.










    See the difference in joining dates in both stats.
    What might be causing it?

    Details(Suppose you might be logging it, still)

    Browsing Location: India(+5.30 GMT)
    Bug found at :10.30 PM IST
    Browser: Google Chrome 4.0.223.16 
    Operating System: Windows Vista Ultimate

    The difference is most likely the timezone of the user and/or of you.

    if you apply the -5 hours from that users timezone selection as in the second example, then that timezone offset may be sufficient to move the date back to dec 31 2002.

    if it were displayed at either standard GMT or in your timezone (+5.5 hours), then that timezone offset may be sufficient to move it forward to Jan 1 2003.

    So i think its the same value being shown, but for two different timezones.
