Hello Everyone,

I have been an active member of Asp.Net ajax section of this forum for more than one and half years . And I really enjoyed working on client side technology like ajax , jQuery etc.But now because of change in assignment , I have moved to desktop based applications which include  WPF , WCF , SharePoint etc etc.

I was actually looking for sections dedicated to WinFx technology in Asp.Net forum but there was no luck.Instead MSDN forum has got full support for the same.

I wanted to know is there any collaboration in between asp.net amd msdn forum , so that points can be carry forwarded from current forum to another.Or is there any chances of asp.net forum opening its doors for WinFx based technologies .

No. Even our closes neighbours, Silverlight.net and iis.net don't carry around the recognition points.

There are already 2 available: WCF and WF dedicated forums (both of course seen from the perspective of ASP.NET). However for WPF there isn't any and also that doesn't belong here, the same goes for Silverlight.

To add to what Kris said... Perhaps in the future, but not now.  The only real tie is is the ability to use Windows Live ID to log in.

Thanks to both of you for your words.I will visit the WCF section in asp.net forum.

I just visited MSDN forum and I found it as too clumsy and difficult to use.I must say that Asp.Net forum people have done great job by keeping the UI simple and very user friendly.
